Sarah Glass, MA, RHIA, CCS, FAHIMA,
has 25+ years in the HIM field, as
director of HIM departments, adjunct
faculty, consultant, author and
speaker. She is an Asst. Dir. of HIM at
St. Luke's Health System in Houston and
the Texas Coding Roundtable Coordinator.

Desla Mancilla, MPA, RHIA is
the director of the health informatics
and information management program at
West Suburban College located in Oak
Park, Illinois. As an HIM professional
since the mid 1980’s, Mancilla has held
a variety of positions including her
most recent non-academic position of
Regional Director of Information
Protection Services in an integrated
health information delivery network.
Mancilla has been a frequent speaker at
the local, regional, and national level
on medical identity theft, electronic
health records, and patient privacy.
Peter
Yen, PA completed his PA degree
through D'Youville College at Buffalo,
New York in 2001. Immediately following
graduation, he joined Shriners Hospital
for Children/UTMB, with focus in
metabolic research, acute care, and
plastic reconstructive surgery on burn
children. In 2004, Mr. Yen joined the
Burn Center at Brooke Army Medical
Center/ Institute of surgical research,
where he provided acute burn care and
plastic reconstruction to wounded
soldiers and adult civilians. He joined
the trauma division in 2008, where he
serves to provide burn care and
trauma/emergency care. |
